Artist consultations
One-to-one sessions tailored to suit the needs of each client
With over 40 years of combined experience, we offer friendly, affordable one-to-one consultations designed to meet the specific needs of each client. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to discuss a project and can help expand an artist's knowledge of materials and processes.
We offer a wide range of advice in areas including:
fabrication techniques
material selection
moulds
casting and body casting
guidance on projects as part of an application
public art
help with improving an artist's own techniques.
Our rates
Recent Graduates (within 2 years of graduation): £55/hour + VAT
Artists / Creatives: £70/hour + VAT
Curators and Art Producers: £100/hr + VAT
Arts organisations: £100/hr + VAT

Bespoke fabrication
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do
We believe in a collaborative approach to the making process, working with clients to realise their projects from concept through to fabrication and installation.
We work with artists, designers, private clients and students to produce a variety of projects from fine art sculpture, public art, life casting to bespoke objects. Using numerous fabrication and production methods, we produce the highest quality sculpture, installation and construction for contemporary works of art.
We use all materials including a wide range of woods, plastics, metals - foundry and cold cast, resins, polyurethanes, silicones, rubbers, carbon fibres and foams.

Visiting speaker talks
Sharing our knowledge and expertise
We are very happy to share our knowledge and expertise, particularly with students. Undergraduate and Postgraduate student groups from various courses including Fine Art and Design have benefitted from our visiting speaker talks.
Our rates
Online or in-person talk/lecture which includes an overview of fabrication, a show & tell with examples, highlighting processes and materials, and with Q&A: £350 + VAT for 1.5 hours total (preparation & admin included)
A bespoke module tailored to your needs: £700 + VAT for one day’s prep and delivery time

Work experience opportunities
We offer up to six placements each year within our studio, with each placement running for 1-2weeks. These opportunities are particularly suited to Higher Education students (BA or MA) or early career professionals.
We review and contact successful applicants twice during the year, in March and September.
Studio visits
An insight into our ways of working
Undergraduate and Postgraduate student groups from various courses including Fine Art, Architecture, and Photography as well as Designer/ Maker students are amongst those that visit us.
After being suspended due to Covid, we are tentatively restarting studio visits. For more information and availability, please email us.
We care about your safe experience with us as well as that of our staff, and so, ask that you choose to wear a mask or face covering when in the studio.
